Welcome
Welcome to my blog!

Here are 10 DVDs that will empower your artist career and creativity to a new level.
Each DVD has 2 lessons for approximately 1.5 hours worth of art instruction and demonstrations in a step-by-step easy to use format. This information, if studied, will accelerate your growth as an artist.
Lessons 2 to 10 all contain lesson one as a “foundation” lesson which is then applied to the specific lesson of that particular DVD.
The DVDs 4- 10 Are The Application of the Design Alphabet as Applied to Subjects
About Lesson #1 “The Alphabet of Design-The Thinking Process “
This lesson is designed for the person who wants to understand art and design better but is not interested in becoming a painter. This lesson appears on each DVD.
When a Master Artist starts to develop a painting, there is a basic decision making process the Master goes through in organizing the canvas space with the elements of the painting. Len has organized these elements into a checklist of items to consider as you organize your paintings or view to appreciate other Master Artist’s paintings and sculpture. This check list is based on the elements of Dynamic Symmetry and more. Len calls these design elements the “Alphabet of Design” and illustrates their use by Master Artists in the DVD. You can then be empowered to incorporate these design elements in your paintings or sculpture.
DVD #10 is recommended for the non artist, art appreciator.
“The Master Artists Directs The Eye Of The Viewer Through The Painting Space.”
The Master Artist composes the painting space and directs the viewer’s eye through the panting. This is done in a same way that a book author or a music composer leads the reader or listener through the story or music composition. Some of the elements of the “design alphabet” include the S curve, repeating diagonals, and how to use the 5 kinds of light.
This “Alphabet of Design” lesson answers the questions “What to do”, “Where to do it, and “How to do it.” This Alphabet is the strong foundation from which to build a strong well designed painting.. It is the difference between just creating something visual and creating an Art Masterpiece (See DVD 10- “Understanding the Design of Raphael…”)
Running time: DVD 1 (“Part one” as referenced in DVDs 2 – 10) 35:13 minutes
